As the opioid epidemic continues to spread across the nation, the importance of increasing naloxone distribution has become

increasingly critical in preventing overdose deaths. The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that increased

naloxone distribution could prevent 20,000 deaths annually in the United States alone.

The U.S. Surgeon General also strongly urges that those at risk of overdose have naloxone available. In this one-hour webinar

with public health expert Emily Behar, physicians will learn about the evidence supporting naloxone access, the clinical

indications for co-prescribing naloxone and how to talk about naloxone and overdose prevention with patients.
