This one-hour webinar led by Linda Hawes Clever, MD, MACP, will offer practical, creative, and effective remedies to deal with the crush on personal and professional lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. It will start with some strategies, resources, and suggestions and then quickly evolve to questions and answers, as we listen and see the ingenuity, guts, and devotion with which we are addressing the harrowing challenges we all face as a profession, community, and nation. Participants will discover how to reduce personal stress and learn healthy ways to contend with the impact of COVID-19.

Learning Objectives:

•Discover that they are not alone, by reviewing statistics re heath care professional distress

•Identify first steps in relieving emotional distress so they are able to provide excellent care

•List practical ways to develop solutions in personal and professional lives so they and their patients can achieve best health

•Have access to important and unique resources from ACCMA and RENEW that offer organizational, scientific and humanities-based information that pertain to their own health and, therefore, the health of patients

Linda Hawes Clever, MD, MACP

Linda Hawes Clever, MD, MACP, is the founder of the nonprofit organization Its purpose is to assist health care professionals and others discover ways to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. She is a graduate of the Stanford Medical School and board certified in internal and occupational medicine. Dr. Clever is active at UC Berkeley and Stanford University, a member of the National Academy of Medicine, and the author of The Fatigue Prescription: Four Steps to Renewing Your Energy, Health and Life.
